What changed in the latest version
6 added · 11 removedPlain-language change summary
The amendment to SB 142 changes the language regarding how the executive director may accept institutional and programmatic accreditation from "shall" to "may," making it permissive rather than mandatory. This means the executive director is not required to accept such accreditations unless they find reasonable cause not to rely on them. Additionally, while the initial version specified that an application for initial authorization would expire after six months, the amended text has moved the expiration language, but still indicates that applications should be complete within that timeframe.
