Plain-language change summary

The amendment changes the focus from "home health agency" to "homemaker-companion agency" in the regulations requiring client-specific employee training and staff transition planning for Medicaid reimbursement related to live-in care. Additionally, it retains the same training and transition requirements but specifies the overlap period for employee transitions applies to homemaker-companion agencies. This change may affect how agencies operate in terms of staff training and client care continuity when handling live-in care arrangements.
