Plain-language change summary

The amendment changes the focus of the bill from creating a standardized financial aid letter specifically for the Connecticut State University System to applying this standardization across all public and independent institutions of higher education in the state. This broadens the scope, ensuring that all students enrolled in higher education institutions in Connecticut receive the same information. The standardized financial aid letter must include itemized lists of grants, scholarships, federal loans, potential eligibility for other funding, and a glossary of relevant terms, which may help students compare financial aid options more effectively.
