The amendment to SB 438 clarifies the language regarding the Small Business Express program by specifying that the review of the application and screening process will ensure participation of physicians and physician's offices as outlined in subdivision (2) of subsection (a) of section 32-7g. It also corrects certain references for accuracy and consistency in drafting conventions. This change matters as it aims to enhance the clarity of the text and potentially improve the inclusiveness of the program for healthcare providers.
