Plain-language change summary

The amendment changes the focus from a working group evaluating training requirements for individuals staffing residential homes to a mandate that the training for these individuals be equivalent to that required for those staffing facilities licensed by other departments. This simplifies the training expectations and potentially streamlines the process for hiring and staffing in residential homes licensed by the Department of Public Health.
