What changed in the latest version
7 added · 13 removedPlain-language change summary
The amendment to HB 5682 redefines the term "Manufacturer" by clarifying that it includes individuals or businesses involved in constructing or assembling new motor vehicles, while specifically excluding any trailer with a gross vehicle weight rating of ten thousand pounds or less. This change updates the language for grammatical correctness, replacing "are" with "is." The practical effect of this amendment is that it narrows the definition of what constitutes a manufacturer in relation to motor vehicles, potentially impacting regulatory requirements or industry classifications.
