Plain-language change summary

The amendment to SB 846 modifies the application process for a security officer license. It now requires applicants to submit two full-face photographs and clarifies that they must provide their fingerprints as part of the application, while also specifying that applicants with a training waiver are exempt from the licensing fee. Additionally, the license will now be valid for an extended period of ninety days after its expiration date, unless revoked or under suspension. These changes aim to streamline the application process and clarify the requirements applicants must meet.
