What changed in the latest version
8 added · 16 removedPlain-language change summary
The amendment establishes a task force to study public health prevention efforts and includes changes such as an updated deadline for the task force to submit its report, moving from January 1, 2018, to July 1, 2018. Additionally, it adds clarifications regarding the qualifications of appointees from the majority leaders in both the House and Senate. These changes matter because they streamline the task force's focus and set a new timeline for its findings, potentially impacting the implementation of public health recommendations.
