The amended bill expands the eligibility criteria for businesses to receive assistance under the Small Business Express program. It now includes any physician licensed in Connecticut or any physician office that has been registered for at least six months, employs no more than 100 employees, and is in good standing with tax payments and the Department of Public Health. This change clarifies the requirements for both individual physicians and their offices to qualify for support.
