Plain-language change summary

The amended bill now establishes a health data collaborative working group, emphasizing the inclusion of the Health Information Technology Officer among its members. Additionally, it clarifies that appointments can be made from various sectors, including public or private universities, without specifying that only one such institution is represented. This change allows for a broader range of expertise and perspectives in the group's discussions, supporting the examination of health data issues in precision medicine and personalized health. The structure for appointing the chairperson and scheduling initial meetings remains consistent.
