Plain-language change summary

The amendments made to SB 23-002 primarily involved the removal of lines that specified the departments involved in the bill's processes. Despite these changes, the core purpose of the bill remains unchanged: it aims to seek federal authorization for Medicaid reimbursement for services provided by a community health worker and includes an appropriation related to that effort. The practical effect of this amendment means the bill focuses directly on the actions concerning federal authorization without detailing specific departmental responsibilities.
