The amendment to SB 22-062 introduces a provision that allows the Committee on Legal Services to take action on retaining legal counsel through a poll among its members, rather than requiring a meeting. This means the committee can make decisions more quickly, without waiting for everyone to convene, unless a member objects to the polling method. Additionally, the amendment specifies that the poll can be conducted in person, electronically, or via digital communication.
