Plain-language change summary

The amendment clarifies that the Division of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Focusing Infrastructure can expend or encumber funds for environmental protection and air quality without needing a determination from the director of the division. Additionally, it extends the time frame for unspent funds from the 2020-21 fiscal year to be available until the 2024-25 fiscal year, instead of only up to the 2021-22 fiscal year. It also changes the repeal date of the related subsection from July 1, 2023, to July 1, 2026. These changes affect how long available funds can be used and streamline the approval process for related projects.
