16 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

APPROPRIATION.--Four million dollars w l n d 18 ($4,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the = = 19 a l children, youth and families department for expenditure in i a e r 20 fiscal year 2027 for the foster engagement adaptability a t m m 21 diversity initiative program to support culturally competent d r e 22 training services for foster parents caring for an Indian child c e s k 23 pursuant to the Indian Family Protection Act and federal Indian e a n b 24 Child Welfare Act of 1978.
Any unexpended balance remaining at u [ the end of fiscal year 2027 shall revert to the general fund.
