16 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

APPROPRIATION.--Two million dollars w l n d 18 ($2,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the = = 19 a l health care authority for expenditure in fiscal year 2027 to i a e r 20 provide medicaid-directed payments to the university of New a t m m 21 Mexico health sciences center for the purpose of increasing d r e 22 graduate medical education resident and fellow salaries.
Any c e s k 23 unexpended balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2027 e a n b 24 shall revert to the general fund.
