Summary
Existing law, which becomes inoperative on July 31, 2020, and is repealed as of January 1, 2021, requires the Superintendent of Public Instruction to convene a computer science strategic implementation advisory panel with a specified membership to develop and submit recommendations for a computer science strategic implementation plan to the Superintendent, the State Board of Education, and the Legislature. This bill would repeal the statute that makes these provisions inoperative and repeals them, thereby making these provisions operative indefinitely on and after January 1, 2021.
