Summary

This bill would prohibit a landlord, or the landlord's agent, from charging a tenant a late fee in excess of $50 with regard to specified rental agreements. The bill would specify that it is not intended to supersede any applicable law or regulation that governs the collection of late fees under federal or state housing assistance programs.
