Summary

Existing law requires, until January 1, 2019, a health facility at which a mammography examination is performed to include a prescribed notice on breast density in the summary of the written report that is sent to a patient, if specified circumstances apply. This bill would extend the operation of that provision until January 1, 2025. The bill would also make technical and conforming changes.
