Summary
The federal Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974 establishes a state advisory group that is required to fulfill certain duties relating to runaway and homeless youth, including, among other things, developing a directory of service providers and studying the feasability and establishment of a statewide referral system for runaway and homeless youth. This bill would require the state advisory group to study the feasability of the establishment of an Internet Web site for runaway and homeless youth that would include a directory of service providers and the rights of homeless and runaway youth.
