This bill is no longer active — its legislative session has ended, so there is no live prognosis. It would have to be reintroduced in the current session to move again.
Summary
Existing law requires an employer to furnish employees with itemized wage statements containing specified information and to maintain and permit inspection of records pertaining to the statements. An employer who fails to do so is guilty of a crime. This bill would delete an erroneous cross-reference.
