Plain-language change summary

The amendments to Bill LB 903 introduce a requirement for case managers to refer certain families to home visitation and early intervention services. This change aims to ensure that families receive additional support to help them navigate challenges they might face. Additionally, the bill removes an existing provision related to the Family Home Visitation Act, streamlining the process of providing assistance to families in need. These changes are important because they could lead to better outcomes for children and families by connecting them with necessary resources earlier in their case management.
