What changed in the latest version
265 added · 400 removedPlain-language change summary
The bill has been updated to include the approval date and clarifies the focus on protecting children online. Specifically, it defines what constitutes "actual knowledge" about a user’s age for online services and outlines what a "child" is considered to be under this act. These changes are important because they help ensure that online platforms take children’s safety more seriously by recognizing the need for age-appropriate design features that limit excessive engagement and protect young users.
