Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to LB 428 clarify and expand the policies related to parental and guardian involvement in schools. The amended bill ensures that schools must specify how they will allow parents and guardians access to various educational materials and activities, as well as outline the circumstances under which they can request their children be excused from certain school experiences. This update is important as it promotes greater transparency and parental engagement in their children's education, helping families feel more involved in the learning process.
