Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Bill LB 177A adds a line confirming the bill's approval by the Governor on June 4, 2025. This change clarifies the timeline for when the funds are officially authorized for the Nebraska State Patrol. Additionally, the amendment retains the same appropriation amounts and conditions for funding as previously outlined. This matters because it ensures transparency about when the bill was signed and reinforces the support for law enforcement funding within the state’s budget.
