The amendment to Bill LB 513 updates the salaries of the Chief Justice and Supreme Court judges, specifying their pay increases for the years 2025 and 2026. It clarifies the exact amounts they will earn, with the salary rising to $228,431.18 in 2025 and $231,857.65 in 2026. This change is significant because it ensures that judges' salaries keep pace with inflation and the demands of their roles, which helps maintain a fair compensation structure for the judiciary in Nebraska.
