Plain-language change summary

The latest version of the bill focuses on the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) program and includes an important change: accounts associated with the program are now exempt from legal actions like levies and garnishments. This means that money contributed to these accounts is better protected from being seized to pay debts. This change is significant because it encourages saving for individuals with disabilities, allowing them to use these funds without the worry of losing them in legal disputes.
