The recent amendments to LB 290 update how grant funding is allocated for economic recovery efforts in Nebraska. The changes clarify that grants will be prioritized for communities particularly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring that financial support targets those in need. This focus on equitable distribution of funds is important as it seeks to aid the recovery of the hardest-hit neighborhoods and help them rebuild more effectively.
