Plain-language change summary

The changes to Bill LB 716 include the repeal of the Next Generation Business Growth Act, which has been inactive since January 2017, and the removal of outdated provisions related to the Rural Health Opportunities Loan Pool Fund and the Nebraska Army National Guard complex. These amendments are important because they streamline the legislation by eliminating references to programs that are no longer operational, making the law clearer and more relevant to current issues in Nebraska's government and health care system. By focusing on current needs, like student loans and debt repayment for health professionals, the bill aims to improve support for healthcare in the state.
