The amendment to Bill LB 84 adds the specific date when the bill was approved by the Governor and clarifies the purpose of the School Psychologist Interstate Licensure Compact. This change is important because it officially recognizes the Compact, which aims to make it easier for qualified school psychologists to work across state lines. By streamlining the licensing process, this will help ensure that schools have access to necessary psychological services and address workforce shortages in this critical area.
