The amendment to the bill LB 32 updates the requirements for disclaimers on political materials, such as billboards and advertisements. Now, it specifies that anyone paying for these materials must include their name and street address, while candidates themselves must do the same, but can also use a post office box number for their address. This change aims to enhance transparency in political advertising by making it easier for the public to identify who is behind the campaign materials. Overall, it helps improve accountability in the political process.
