Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to LB 248 specifies that certain federal programs are now exempt from Nebraska's child care licensing requirements. This change aims to reduce regulatory burdens on providers involved in these federal programs, making it easier for them to operate. This is important because it may encourage more accessible child care options for families while still ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.
