Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to SB 927 add specific definitions related to kratom, such as clarifying what constitutes "adulterated" kratom and detailing what a "kratom leaf extract" is. This is important because it establishes clear guidelines on the acceptable forms and conditions under which kratom can be sold, potentially helping to ensure safety and regulate its use better. By incorporating these definitions, the bill aims to prevent dangerous substances like fentanyl from being mixed with kratom products, protecting consumers.
