Plain-language change summary

The amendment to Bill HB 2412 made several key changes. Most notably, the definition of "Unauthorized alien" has been updated for clarity, aligning it more closely with federal law. Additionally, the deadlines for remitting penalties have changed from quarterly to semi-annually. These adjustments matter because they help ensure compliance with updated legal definitions and provide a clearer timeline for financial reporting, potentially reducing confusion for those involved in these transactions.
