Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Bill SB 614 involve a streamlining of language, mainly by removing extraneous references related to the fiscal management of funds and the settlement of claims against the Commonwealth. This simplification helps clarify the focus of the bill, which is to establish the FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) Primary Care Workforce Initiative, a program aimed at enhancing the workforce in primary care. Such changes are important because they ensure that the legislation is easier to understand and that its goals are more clearly communicated, ultimately making it more effective in improving healthcare services in Pennsylvania.
