The recent amendments to Bill SB 305 clarify the conditions under which an individual or entity can be debarred or suspended from government contracts. Specifically, it now includes the possibility of debarment for unsatisfactory performance in contracts not only within Pennsylvania but also in other states. This change is significant because it expands the scope of accountability for contractors, ensuring that past performance issues in other jurisdictions can impact their eligibility for future contracts in Pennsylvania.
