Plain-language change summary

The amendment changes the type of data that employers will receive from the insurance commissioner regarding their employer-sponsored plans. Instead of access to claims data, employers will now receive a utilization report based on de-identified and aggregated claims data. This shift not only protects the privacy of individuals but also provides employers with insights into overall utilization trends rather than specific claims, which may affect their understanding of healthcare costs and utilization in their plans.
