to authorize the transfer of statepropertyinstate property in Rapides Parish and Caddo Parish;

to provide for the propertydescription;property description;

The president of Louisiana Tech University, as authorized by the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System, and the commissioner of administration are herebyauthorized to enter into such agreements, covenants, conditions, Pageand stipulations and to execute such documents as necessary to properly effectuate any conveyance, transfer, assignment, lease, or deliveryof title, excludingmineral rights, to the property described in Section 1 of 2this Coding:Act, and as more specificallydescribed in any such agreementsenteredintoanddocumentsexecutedbyandbetweenthepresidentofLouisiana Tech University, as authorized bythe Board of Supervisors for the Universityof Louisiana System, and the commissioner of administration and the Caddo Parish School Board, in exchange of consideration proportionate to the appraised value of the property.

Section3.Thecommissionerofadministration,notwithstandinganyotherprovision oflawtothecontrary,isherebyauthorizedandempoweredtoconvey,transfer,assign,lease, or deliver any interest, excluding mineral rights, the state may have to all or any portion of Page 1 of 2 Coding:

Section 5.

If vetoed bythe governorgovernorand andsubsequentlyapproved subsequentlyapprovedbythebythe legislature, this Act shall become effective on the dayfollowing such approval.
