In the revised version of Bill SB 118, a reference to "ACT No. 212" has been removed. This change simplifies the language and clarifies that the bill no longer relies on the previous act, making it easier to understand for everyone. By removing this reference, the bill can stand on its own and ensures that the focus is on the new provisions being introduced. This matters because it can help prevent confusion and make it more straightforward for people to follow the bill's intent and implications.
