A RESOLUTION To commend Stine Home & Yard on the occasion of its eightieth anniversary and to recognize its extraordinary contributions to the state of Louisiana, the Gulf South region, and the communities and families it has faithfully served for generations.
Stine served as a B-26 bomber pilot in the MediterraneanMediterraneantheater theater during World War II, flying approximately forty combat missions over Europe and demonstratingthecourage,perseverance,andleadershipthatwouldlaterdefinehisbusiness and personal legacy;
and WHEREAS, afterseveralsuccessfulafterseveralsuccessfulyears years in the construction business, the partners amicably parted ways and J.W.
Stine entered the retail lumber industry, establishing what Pagewould 1become one of 3the SLSmost 26RS-4570respected ORIGINALand SRsuccessful NO.family-owned home improvement companies in the Gulf South;
