Plain-language change summary

The updated version of SB 203 clarifies the requirements for fishermen to keep a larger possession limit of red drum and spotted sea trout. Now, in addition to having a valid fishing license, they must provide specific documentation proving they’ve been on the water for two or more days. This change aims to ensure that larger catches are made responsibly and supports sustainable fishing practices, while still allowing dedicated anglers to enjoy their time on the water.
