and WHEREAS, anestimatedninehundredseventy-threethousandfamilycaregiversin Louisiana provide care to adult relatives or friends, with the economic value of this care estimated to be roughly six billion nine hundred million dollars annually;
WHEREAS,Louisianaranksforty-fifthinthenationontheLongTermServicesand Supports StateScorecardwhich evaluateshow statesperformin long-termcareservicesfor older adults and individuals with disabilities;
and WHEREAS,anestimatedninehundredseventy-threethousandfamilycaregiversin Louisiana provide care to adult relatives or friends, with the economic value of this care estimated to be roughly six billion nine hundred million dollars annually;
