39:11 et seq., the following described property shall be transferred from the Department of Transportation and Development to the Louisiana State UniversityHealthUniversity Health Sciences Center at Shreveport:

Four (4) certain tracts or parcels of land, together with all improvementssituatedthereon,consistingofLots52through66ofSalisbury Park Subdivision and Lots 50, 51 and 52 of Samford Place Subdivision, Pagesituated 1in ofSection 312, CODING:Township 17 North, Range 14 West, Northwestern Land District, Caddo Parish, being the same property identified as Parcel Nos.

Requires the Dept.

of Transportation and Development(DOTD)transfercertain state property to the LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport.

Present law authorizes the commissioner of administration and the secretaryof the DOTD to transfer certain state propertyin Caddo Parish to either the LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport or the LSU Health Sciences Foundation Shreveport.

Proposed law repeals present law.

Presentlawauthorizesthecommissionerofadministrationtoadministerandsupervisestate property and requires that the commissioner be a party to any transaction involving immovable property of the state.

Proposed law requires that the DOTD transfer certain state property in Caddo Parish to the LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport, in accordance with present law.

Proposed law provides that the commissioner of administration and the secretary of the DOTD are authorized to execute any documents necessary to effectuate the transfer.

Proposed law requires the LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport to record the transfer in the conveyance records for Caddo Parish.

Proposed law requires that the transfer be effective July 1, 2026.

Effective upon signature of governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action.
