Provides for the name change of the state's mental health organizations that are members of the Mental Health AdvocacyService board of trustees.
Present law provides that the board of trustee membership for the Mental Health Advocacy Service shall be comprised of nine members including the president of the Mental Health Association of Louisiana or his representative and a selected member from the Louisiana Medical Society.
Proposed law changes the organizations' names from the Mental Health Association of Louisiana and the Louisiana Medical Society to the Louisiana Mental Health Association and the Louisiana State Medical Society.
