The latest version of SB 338 removes the requirement for students and their parents to take part in a court-approved decision-making course after a bullying incident. Instead, it focuses on promptly addressing bullying through appropriate disciplinary actions and reporting any criminal behavior to law enforcement when necessary. This change emphasizes direct action and flexibility in handling bullying cases, likely making the process more streamlined for schools. Ultimately, it aims to help schools deal with bullying incidents more efficiently and effectively.
