PresentlawrequirestheDept.ofPublicSafetyandCorrections(DPS&C),attheendofeach fiscal year, to calculate the annual savings realized as a result of criminal justice reinvestment and provides for allocation of the annual savings.

Present law requires that 15% of the annual savings be allocated to the La.

for administration and operation of the Back on Track Youth Pilot Program as provided in present law (R.S.

15:951).
