Creates the "Krewe of Athena" motor vehicle special prestige license plate.
Provides for the creation, issuance, design, fees, implementation, distribution, and rule promulgation applicable to this license plate.
ProposedlawrequirestheDept.ofPublicSafetyandCorrections(DPS&C),officeofmotor vehicles (OMV), to issue a special prestige license plate to be known as the "Krewe of Athena" license plate, provided there is a minimum of 1,000 applicants for such a plate.
Proposed law requires that the secretary work in conjunction with the Krewe of Athena Carnival Club, Inc.
to select the color and design of the plate.
Requires the design include the words "Krewe of Athena".
Proposedlawspecifiesthatthelicenseplateswillbeissued,uponapplication,to anycitizen of La.
in the same manner as any other motor vehicle license plate.
