1:13(B) and 24:177(E)] DIGEST SB 154 Engrossed 2026 Regular Session Kleinpeter Present law provides for a jury commission in each parish to perform certain functions including coordination of the jury venire process.
Proposed law retains present law except it requires the function of the jury commission be performed by the clerk of court of West Baton Rouge Parish or by a deputy clerk of court designated by the clerk in writing to act in his stead.
Effective August 1, 2026.
