A RESOLUTION To recognize Friday, May 1, 2026, as AmeriCorps Seniors Southern University at Shreveport (SUSLA) Foster Grandparent Volunteer Day.
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to commend the AmeriCorps Seniors Foster GrandparentVolunteerProgramfortheforty-sixyearsofexceptionalserviceithasprovided in Caddo and Bossier parishes;
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to commend the AmeriCorps Seniors Foster GrandparentVolunteerProgramfortheforty-sixyearsofexceptionalserviceithasprovided in Caddo and Bossier Parishes;
and WHEREAS, for more than five decades, millions of volunteers in theAmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program have played an important role in strengthening communities by sharing their experience, knowledge, and accomplishments with the individuals they serve;
