Plain-language change summary

The bill HB 1403 has been amended to specify that private and parochial schools must provide thirty hours of in-service continuing professional education to new professional educators within their first two years of employment. The previous version required these schools to ensure that educators complete this training but did not clearly state that they must be the ones providing it. This change emphasizes the responsibility of these schools to deliver the necessary training, which is important for supporting the professional development of educators and improving education quality.
