Plain-language change summary

The amendment to SB 97 establishes a requirement for all health benefit plans in Kentucky to include coverage for prostheses and orthoses. This coverage is intended to be at least as comprehensive as what's provided under existing federal regulations, ensuring access to necessary medical devices for individuals in need. This change matters because it expands healthcare access for patients who rely on these devices, ultimately helping improve their quality of life and mobility.
